Part 6 — Role-play 2: Retransmitir uma anedota (Anecdote retelling)

Scenario: Partner A experienced something (travel perrengue, work misunderstanding, funny situation). Partner B has not heard the story. A tells it; B reacts and asks questions.

Part 7 — Role-play 3: Desacordo educado (Polite disagreement)

Scenario: Two friends disagree about whether to move neighborhoods in São Paulo (e.g., Pinheiros vs. Vila Madalena vs. Moema). Or: disagree about remote work vs. office.

Time: 4–5 minutes. Must include at least 2 softening phrases per person.

Part 8 — Simulado: avaliação de ligação telefônica (Mock phone assessment)

Format

Each student performs a 3-minute phone call (solo or with partner as “receiver”). Teacher or partner evaluates using the checklist below.

Activity 1 — SP problem debate (15 min)

Topic: “O que mais irrita você em São Paulo?”

Each person must use:

• 1× Odeio quando… or Não aguento que…
• 1× Porque… então…
• 1× Entendo, mas… (responding to someone)

Topics: trânsito, chuva, aluguel, metrô, barulho, filas.

Activity 2 — Telephone + relay chain (15 min)

A calls B (phone role-play). B relays to C using disse que / pediu para. C summarizes to the class with por isso / então.

Activity 3 — Story slam (15 min)

2-minute stories — audience votes on best perrengue. Must include já tinha and Aí.

Activity 4 — Devil’s advocate (10 min)

One person states an opinion about SP (best bairro, best transport). Partner must disagree politely using only softening phrases — no direct Você está errado.

Activity 5 — Block 3 free writing (10 min)

Write a WhatsApp voice message transcript (8–10 lines) + relay to a friend (4 lines) + your reaction with emotion (2 lines).
