Part 3 — Gramática: orações relativas — introdução (Relative clauses intro)
Relative clauses add detail about a noun. At B1 we start with the most common patterns.

Note: In speech, Brazilians often use que instead of quem: A pessoa que trabalho (informal).

Part 4 — Gramática: voz passiva — introdução (Passive voice intro)
Passive focuses on the object/action, not who did it. Common in product descriptions and news.

Brazilian speech: Active is more common in conversation (Eles fizeram no Brasil), but passive appears in ads, reviews, and formal descriptions.
Part 5 — Diálogo 1: Comparando dois smartphones
Context: Alex and Marina compare phones at a shop in Pinheiros.

When describing objects, stress the adjective for emphasis:

Activity 3 — Shopping role-play (10 min)
One student is a salesperson in Shopping Eldorado; the other compares two products and asks about parcelamento and Pix.
Activity 4 — Product review (5 min)
Write and read aloud a 30-second review of any product. Include one relative clause and one passive form.
Activity 5 — Passive transformation drill (5 min)
